I have to work on my International Business paper. It's due on Tuesday and it needs to be 8 to 10 pages long. I went to bed early yesterday since I had to wake up around 6:30 for a conference I was attending. It lasted till 5:00 P.M. It was a conference on Green Business and Sustainability. It was good and I learned something new.

The internship search still continues. I am still waiting to hear back from Nestle.

My brother's birthday is next Saturday; he's turning 16! I am sort of sad because he's my baby brother and I don't want him to grow up. Funny I say that because I am only about 4.5 years older than him. Either way, he'll always be my little baby brother.

My friend Sarah's birthday was this past Thursday. There was a small gathering at her apartment so I went. They all were going out later but I wasn't since I am not 21 (I'll be in November). Her friend, Jonah, came, too. I was surprised that Sarah knew him. He's currently in my history class and I sort of like him.... Let's see what happens!
Ashanthi, Ami, and I went shopping yesterday evening. I wanted to go shopping because I wanted to boost my self-esteem. And it truly does! Whenever I buy something, I always feel happy. I wish women didn't have to go shopping to raise their self-esteem. Whatever. After that, we dressed up and decided to go to a party. Turns out it was boring. Left after 5 minutes and headed to a restaurant to eat because we all were very hungry. We went to The Rossi in the Short North. They have the best fries ever!

I have a lot of work to finish. I had coffee with Brent today. Em, it was okay. Yeah.... He's not my type. I hope I am not sending him the wrong signals because he asked me if I was willing to go out to a club with him. What am I saying. I probably did.

Internships. Bleh. I did a mock interview at Career Services. They were really nice to me and gave me candid feedback I was looking for. They told me my interviewing skills are fine. I just need to give more details in my answers so the interviewer doesn't have to ask the next question. I am also in talks with Nestle. I might get an interview with them. If I get an internship with them, I'll be working in California! I have never been to the West Coast....
Anyway, back to homework. Because all I did today was sleep.
I was hanging out with my friend Lo last night and realized that her car was purple. More of a dark magenta color. I go "Lo! Your car is purple!" She knows how much I detest that color and I really do. I hate purple. I never even liked the people who were obsessed with that color. That includes one of my 8th grade classmates, my high school English teacher, and a girl I met my freshmen year. That color is so ugly. Her response, "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!"
Anyway, today all I am going to do is study for accounting. Bleh. I have an exam on Wednesday. Also, I need to send out a few emails regarding summer employment. Please. I need to get something this summer! I have a mock interview scheduled this coming Friday with my school's career services. It sounds so humilating in a way. A girl who is academically strong, has a wonderful resume, can never pass an interview....
In my boy life, Brent who I met at Allen's party has been in contact with me. He knew I was "slammed" last quarter and was hoping that this quarter will be better for me. Well it is... maybe we'll go out to coffee again...
Cardinal Health interview did not go well at all. I think that pregnant lady who interviewed wasn't impressed. I don't what to do. But I haven't given up yet! I have applied to Cirque Du Soleil, Paramount Pictures, Nestle, and other places. Someone has to hire me for the summer. I need some finance experience!
Anyway, I was browsing around at Target and I just love their Go International collection! Especially, their past collections. Because its on sale right now.
I had the most amazing conversation with my little cousin on Friday evening. He's 11 years old and lives in Delaware. Miles away from him. I called my aunt and I started to talk with him. Last time I saw him was when he was so tiny and barely spoke good English. This time, he spoke it well. We talked about youtube and how he loves watching Family Guy. I told him it's not for him, and he's too young to watch it. He says, "I know! SHHHHH. Don't tell my parents! I watch clips of it on youtube!" I laughed. I helped him create a gmail account and he sent me pictures of him. He's growing into a fine young man!
Gallery Hopping with Sarah was always fun! We were at a small boutique and I was looking at bracelets and I saw one that looked like a cow! I go, "Sarah! Look how cute it is! It's a cow." Sarah looks at it and says, "No, it's a giraffe.' We both start to giggle like crazy and everyone was looking at us. But that's okay.
I bought a jewelry stand yesterday at a boutique called Tigertrees. I fell in love with it; it has a handle for holding bracelets at the middle and earrings top and bottom. I have so many earings that i needed a jewelry holder. I couldn't find one that I really liked and when I first laid my eyes on the one at Tigertrees, I knew it was the one for me. I am a very choosy shopper by the way. I was debating whether to buy it because it was $30. I didn't want to spend that much because I am on a tight budget. But I weighed the pros and cons and decided it was a safe bet and bought it!
Okay, off to the gym!
I had my interview with Cardinal Health today. I thought it went well; It wasn't that bad. The first interview was pretty simple while the second was mostly behavorial. Eh.
After interviewing with at least 15 companies, I came to realize that I am not really interested in business at all. Finance bores me. Money interests me and since I like to shop and buy expensive stuff I need to make money.
I got atheltic shoes today! Finally! My old Nike shoes fell apart so I needed a new pair. I looked on the internet and I couldn't find anything I liked. I am very picky about shoes. And then I waltzed in at Foot Locker. The sales person recommended Brooks. They are better than Nike apparently. I tried them on and VOILA! I had found my shoes.
Has spring arrived yet? It's so dreary looking out the window. It's been raining this entire week in Ohio. I hear it's going to be in the 60s this weekend! YAY! Me and Sarah are going gallery hopping so I am excited about that.
I know I don't post here that much but sometimes I get too caught up in school stuff. I need to make ME time. :-)

College has started and so far it's okay. My classes are challenging but I'll manage. Also, I am taking my last accounting course in my college career! I hate accounting.
For next year, I have decided to live a little bit away from my college but still on campus. I will be living with three other girls. We'll see how it goes.
I have been thinking a lot lately and I have decided that I really don't want to do business in life. I think said this before. So I have an appointment with a career coach to talk about career changes possible into visual communication design. I love learning about architecture and art. It's what makes me happy.
In other news, my dad has returned from India. One of the suitcases didn't show up but it will soon (I hope! I want my stuff)! I might go visit him this weekend.
I really like the Beatles' songs. And I never heard any of them until now on American Idol. I usually don't watch that show either, but today I did.
I hit a car yesterday. Great. I was going back home from Columbus but before I left, I grabbed some Tim Horton's Iced Cappacino. I am obessesed with it; it tastes so good. Driving towards Athens, I had to use the bathroom urgently because of the drink. I stopped at Neslonville's Burger King. I parked where there were no cars next to me. I got out, used the restroom, came back to my car, got in, started the engine, looked BOTH ways and saw that no car was coming. I started to back out and then I take a sharp turn by steering my wheel counter clockwise. I hit a car that was about to park next to me. My bumper's screwed up and the other person's headlight shattered. Nothing too big. I was very upset though. I wished the guy would have honked his horn or something.
I came back home and hugged my mom and she was happy to see me. She was starting to worry about me because she knew I left Columbus a long time ago and I still wasn't home yet. I started to tell her. After finishing, I look at her and big tears start to fall out of my eyes. She laughs and says its okay. I really thought my parents were going to kill me. Even my dad laughed.
I called my insurance company today. The lady who helped me was very sweet and told me it was okay. I had no clue what to do. Anyway, it will be handled.
SPRING BREAK: I am home. It's nice to relax for a week before starting another crazy quarter. My grades aren't that bad. I got one B and rest As. I am one of those people who think that Bs are bad. Go figure. My brother gets extremely happy if he gets a B. I see it as the end of the world.
I still have a lot to do. My interview yesterday went well. I will be called in for an in person interview maybe next week? Once, Ohio State resumes.
TO DO THIS WEEK: relax, watch movies, hang out with my bro, and see my grandpa!
Hang in there - If you don't get a job, then I alway say that it was not meant to... read more
